What is microneedling?
Microneedling is a non-invasive treatment where a motorised stamp (we use the Dermapen 4) drives ultra-fine needles in controlled depth into the upper skin layer. These microchannels activate two effects simultaneously:
1. Collagen renewal — the controlled micro-injuries trigger natural wound healing and drive new collagen and elastin production.
2. Serum infusion — serums can penetrate up to 80% deeper into the skin through the open channels compared to normal application.
The result: smoother, fresher skin with a more even complexion — visible after just a few sessions.
Four microneedling variants at Sahel Beauty
We offer microneedling for four areas of application:
Bright Face (face) — the standard treatment for fine lines, acne scars, enlarged pores and an uneven complexion. 60 min, from €169.
Scalp Boost (scalp) — microneedling for thinning hair. Stimulates the hair follicles and can visibly improve hair quality. 60 min, from €119.
Body Renewal (body) — for stretch marks, scars or skin renewal on neck, décolleté or other body zones. From €59 depending on area.
Bright Hands (hands) — against pigmentation spots, sagging skin and dehydration lines on the hands. Often overlooked but very effective. 45 min, €89.
Healing process
What to expect after a session:
Day 0–1: Skin is red (like after sun exposure), feels tight, slightly warm. Avoid make-up.
Day 2–3: Redness clearly recedes. Light flaking possible — don't pick, support with rich moisturiser.
Day 4–7: Skin looks visibly fresher and smoother. First results visible.
Day 14–30: The actual collagen renewal is running — skin becomes continuously smoother and firmer.
What happens at Sahel Beauty
Every microneedling session begins with a skin analysis. We discuss your goals, check contraindications and make sure the treatment makes sense for your skin.
Before the treatment we apply a numbing cream — you'll barely feel the needles. The microneedling phase itself takes 20–30 minutes. We work with individual needle depth depending on the skin zone and your goal.
After the treatment we apply a soothing serum and an LED light therapy. You leave the studio with slightly red but well-cared-for skin.

What is microneedling?
Microneedling is a treatment method using a motorised stamp (Dermapen 4) to create ultra-fine microchannels in the upper skin layer. These controlled micro-injuries activate the body's natural wound healing, which drives new collagen and elastin production.
How long is the healing phase?
Skin is red for 1–2 days and may flake slightly. We recommend avoiding make-up for 24 hours. After 3–5 days the skin is fully back to normal everyday wear.
How often should I have microneedling?
For visible results we recommend a course of 4–6 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart. For maintenance afterwards: 2–3× per year.
How much is microneedling in Frankfurt?
From €89 for Bright Hands (hands) and €169 for a Bright Face single treatment. In the 4-pack you pay €676 instead of 4× €169 — you save.
Who should not have microneedling?
Not suitable for active acne with inflammation, skin conditions in the treatment area (eczema, rosacea flare-ups), during pregnancy, or with bleeding disorders or blood thinners. We check this during the pre-treatment analysis.
